May Day! Spring is in Full Bloom!
Thank you to everyone who participated in Quilt Rush this year! It was a great success, and we enjoyed meeting some new quilters. I hope you will join us again next year! As for the month of May, Sew Katie Jean will be at the Roseville Guild's Quilt show Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 at William Jessup. We also have more classes and sew days planned for you. On the home front, I am getting settled more and more each day in my new home. I am so grateful for God's provision.
"Le Sho-ko-Lah" for This Month's Window Block!
Our color this month is Brown! There are lots of "chocolate" celebration days during the month of May, so we thought we would give brown the spotlight this month. Window blocks are due by May 31st at closing time. First prize wins the blocks, second prize is 4 free fat quarters and 3rd prize is a $10 gift certificate. Remember, we are doing a year of color, so make one block for the shop and one for you to make a year of color sampler quilt.
