September News 2024

Fall is Coming! I Can't Wait for My Favorite Season!

Hello September! Summer is always a nice break from routine, with vacations and less scheduling, but it is always nice to get back to routine, too! September and late August will always signal the start of school for me, and then the ushering in of fun, Fall activities. I'm glad to be planning and thinking of new Fall classes and projects for all of you, too! Currently, I am at home recovering from my hip replacement surgery. The surgery went well and I am healing nicely. I have had great care from my husband and friends, and I am so grateful for all of the well wishes, meals, visits, and all of the help at the store from Melinda and the crew! Thank you!! I hope to be back in the shop by Sept. 10, at least part of the day.

Just a little business...we found out a way to save a little in credit card fees for the shop. The fees are less when you physically present and use your credit card, rather than using the "card on file" option when you are in the store. So, we will be asking you to pull out your card when you shop in store. We will continue to take credit cards for online shopping, Block-of-the-months, and call-in orders and reservations for classes. Happy Fall everyone! I look forward to seeing you in the shop when I return on the 10th. Make sure you check out our Facebook videos on Tuesdays, so you can see all of the new fabric, kits and classes as they become available.
