FMQ- Ruler Work
| Skill Level: | Intermediate |
| Skill Details: | You should have free motion quilting experience. We suggest having taken levels 1 and 2 of free motion quilting, or the equivalent, prior to the class. |
| Materials Included: | 7 Rulers and Pattern for a ruler kit tote. |
| Requirements: | You must have a free motion quilting machine, an extension table, and a 1/2" ruler work foot. You must also know your machine and how to attach these items and set it into free motion mode. Upon registering, we will need to get some of your machine information to order the correct rulers for your size shank. |
| Instructor: | Loretta Saenz |
| Instructor Bio: | Loretta Saenz has been teaching the Free Motion Classes, levels 1. 2 and 3, and an application class, since last October. In addition, Loretta is a career public school teacher who has enjoyed sewing as a hobby from a young age. In 2015, Loretta discovered and fell in love with free motion quilting on her domestic Janome sewing machine. After taking classes from FMQ Mentors, Jenny Lyon and Bethanne Nemesh, Loretta has gone on to win numerous local awards at the Pioneer Quilt Guild Shows, as well as a 1st place at the 2024 New Quilts of Northern California for Visual Impact and the Pacific International Quilt Festival. |
