Once you have taken Beginning FMQ1 you are ready to expand your library of FMQ motifs! FMQ 2 continues to focus on skill building and developing confidence. We will continue to explore motifs based on the circle, the half circle, swirls and more. Design discussion will include when and where each motif might be useful in your own quilt creations.

In this class for beginners, you will be building on the skills you learned in the Level 1 class. We will be reviewing the “Best Practices” for piecing a quilt top. There are 9 different blocks and sashing and borders, where more skills will be built upon. This class is a sixth month commitment, and participants will need to keep a credit card on file to be billed monthly for the class. Call the shop to register for this class. Registration is 14.99, which is the cost of the "Jump into Patchwork" Pattern Book. If you already bought this book for Level 1, you will be discounted this fee.

Have you taken the Intro to Paper Piecing Class, and want something new to try out your new skill on? or do you know how to Foundation Paper Piece, but need a new project? This cute Turkey will be just the project to add some cute Thanksgiving fun to your home. Barbara Carlston will be here to guide you through this cute and slightly challenging pattern.

This class is for kids 8-18 years old. This month's project is holiday pot holders, so our young people with have something cute to help with family cooking for the holidays. WE will be using some applique, quilting and binding. Bring your favorite grown-up who sews and come sew with us. The young at heart are also welcome to join us.
