Mark your calendars for Two Amazing events! In March, we are having National Quilting Day on Saturday, March 21 in Beermans Plaza from 10-3 pm. This is a great community event, where you can see quilts made by our staff and teachers. We have invited 20 local area guilds to participate a well, and they will be displaying their opportunity quilts and providing information about their guilds. This is a free event to celebrate the craft of quilting!
In April, we will have our Annual Quilt Rush Shop Hop April 16-19. This shop hop includes 10 Northern California Quilt Shops from Vacaville to Chico. Our theme this year is "Celebrate: Stars and Strips Forever," and you will receive a strip of red, white, or blue fabric from each shop in honor of our 250th Celebration of our Nation. In addition to so much fun visiting your favorite quilt stores, we will have a first place prize, which is a sewing machine, a second place prize basket and TEN 3rd place prize baskets!
